Resumo:  The draining basins possess important paper in the landscape, therefore they are its modellers. For natural causes or mainly antrópicos factors, the disequilibrium of the basins have been accented gradual. The disordered occupation in the basin accents such disequilibria in the ground. Amongst the activities that cause degradation, the practical agriculturists, superpastoreiro and reforestation can be cited. For conservation of the ground the preservation will have to be understood and the development, in order to provide the greater for the biggest number and for the biggest period of time of the natural resources of renewable character well, which is the ground, the forests, the pastures, wild fauna e, in certain extension the water. The objective of this work is to carry through a study of the use and occupation of the ground in the microbasin Córrego Dom Tomaz city of Três Lagoas - MS, being used the technique of remote sensoriamento. It was evidenced that the farming use is predominant in the microbasin, being able to infer that this exerts a basic paper in the economic activities of the region.
